Ryan Binford...
born on Whidbey Island and lived here most of his life, joined the FoF board in January 2017. He has many years of experience in the online marketing world and technology sector. He has been maintaining the Friends of Friends website since 2007 and honored to be serving on the board.

Becky Foote...
has been a board member since 2003. Becky teaches math at the South Whidbey branch of Skagit Valley College and has been an active member of the FoF Finance Committee and past Treasurer.

Kathy Gianni...
has lived on Whidbey Island since 1980 with her husband Rocco and their three children. She teaches at Langley Middle School and has been active in the community in many ways, including being on the South Whidbey Youth Council Board and helping with Hearts and Hammers. Kathy feels blessed to be living in such a wonderful community and wants to contribute to others who need help. After her husband was a Mr. South Whidbey candidate, she thought it would be fun to be a part of such a needed organization. Kathy has joined the fundraising committee.

Jessie Gunn...
joined the FoF board in January 2015. She has many years of work experience in the social sector including government, nonprofits, philanthropies, and corporate responsibility programs. Jessie earned her master's degree in Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management. She enjoys working with the dedicated and talented FoF team, and is honored to serve the South Whidbey community.

Kathy Hein...
has worked in the South Whidbey School District with adolescents, families and young children since 1999. She started her own mental health counseling practice in 2013. As an art therapist, she offers clients who are challenged by depression, anxiety, and trauma creative ways to explore their thoughts and feelings. Kathy looks forward to working on the FoF board and welcomes new opportunities to support the physical and mental health needs in our community.

Kristi Kammenga-Price...
joined the Friends of Friends Board in the summer of 2015. Her career at an investment company on South Whidbey allows a work/life balance so she can stay connected and participate in community building. Kristi is a life-long islander and lives in Bayview with her husband, daughter and poodles. Kristi loves being a part of the Mr. South Whidbey Pageant and is the current F of F Secretary.

MaryJane Lungren...
joined the board in 2011. A dentist practicing in Langley, she formerly worked for Island County Public Health and has lived, along with her husband and three children, on Whidbey island since 1990. MaryJane is the current Vice President and serves on the Service committee.

Bambi Meehan...
Having had firsthand experience with how much FoF can help someone in need, she decided to join the board in 2012 to help give back. She had her own bookkeeping business for over 25 years and is helping with financial aspects of the FoF. As a hobby, Bambi enjoys making quilts for children who are in the hospital. Bambi is helping with financial aspects of the organization and is the current FoF Treasurer,

Lenna Rose...
has lived on Whidbey Island since 1994 with her husband. She had a career in nursing for 36 years, managed a ICCU and worked as a staff nurse in ICCU. Most recently, Lenna worked as a recovery room nurse, and is looking forward to serving on the FoF board as part of the Service committee.

Barb Schultz...
residing FoF President has been on Whidbey since 1984. Previously involved in the PTA, she is excited to again be taking an active role in one of our community’s direct support organizations. While working at a local pharmacy, she saw the good work being done by FoF almost daily. She has enjoyed being on the board since 2009.

Emily Schmidt...
our Service Coordinator has lived on South Whidbey for over 40 years. She has been active in many community venues through the years, serving 6 years on the Board of Hearts and Hammers and teaching preschoolers and high-risk school-age children for decades. Emily originally joined the Friends of Friends Board as a member of the Public Relations Committee.
